1. Charge both sensors
Put both sensors in the dock and plug it in. Pairing and the firmware update both need them docked, so start here.
2. Download app and sign in
Get Heygo from the App Store or Google Play. iOS users can sign in with Apple, Google, or email; Android users with Google or email. Email logins require a verification code.
3. Scan the code on the box
The QR code on the packaging is your Pairing Code. It ties this set of sensors to your account, so keep the box.
4. Connect and update
With both sensors docked, tap Connect. Run the firmware update right away, minutes at home, half a chairlift on the mountain.
5. Set your stance
Tell Heygo your name, stance, level and a few basics. Get Regular vs Goofy right, every edge call depends on it.
6. Clip on and ride
L on your left boot, R on your right. Open the app, tap Go, and just ride, the first few turns are Heygo finding its feet.

Heygo is a motion-tracking device designed specifically for snowboarding. Sensors attached to your boots capture movement data throughout each run, while purpose-built algorithms analyze how you ride. This turns progress that once relied mainly on feel and instructor feedback into measurable insights, with real-time voice cues to help you adjust as you ride.
Professional coaching can be expensive, while improving at snowboarding requires consistent practice. Heygo records and analyzes your movement data to give you an objective view of your riding, identify specific issues, and deliver timely coaching cues, making it easier to keep progressing between lessons.
Heygo is designed for snowboarders who want to better understand how they ride, including progressing riders, training-focused users, and anyone looking to improve through data. For beginners, Heygo can also help build a clearer understanding of body movement and fundamental riding mechanics.
Not at all. Beginners often rely heavily on lessons and feel, while Heygo helps you gradually connect what you feel with what your body and board are actually doing. If your goal is to keep learning and improving, Heygo can support your practice from an early stage.
We recommend that beginners first take lessons to build a solid understanding of the fundamentals, then use Heygo to support their practice. It records and measures your riding mechanics, helping you understand how you performed, identify problems, and make timely adjustments even when an instructor isn’t there.
Heygo S1 uses a clip-on sensor design that fits most standard snowboard boots. However, it’s not guaranteed to fit 100% of boots perfectly. Because the clip depends on the thickness of the boot shell, boots with unusually thin or thick sidewalls may cause the sensor to fit less securely.
Sports watches mainly track general activity metrics such as heart rate, speed, distance, and route. Heygo focuses on the movement of your body and board. By capturing and analyzing riding-specific motion data, Heygo helps you understand how you ride, not just how fast or how far you go, and supports your progression over time.
Heygo attaches to the outside of your snowboard boots and is compatible with most mainstream models. During development, we tested it across a wide range of boot shapes, thicknesses, and flex ratings, as well as through extensive impact testing to improve stability. For boots with an unusual shape or construction, we recommend using the additional securing strap.
Heygo is currently designed and developed specifically for snowboarding, so the current product is intended for snowboarders rather than skiers.
Yes. Since connectivity can be unreliable in some areas of a ski resort, Heygo is designed to minimize its dependence on a network while you ride. Core functions remain available with limited or no connection, although reports in the app may take longer to appear until connectivity is restored.
Heygo uses sensors placed on the body and both feet or board to capture motion data. It measures factors related to riding posture, foot movement, turns, and the relationship between your body and board. Its algorithms then process this data to generate detailed insights into your riding mechanics.
Heygo combines data from multiple sensors and uses purpose-built compensation algorithms to reduce interference and measurement error during movement. Snowboarding takes place in a highly variable environment, so snow conditions, equipment, installation, and individual riding style can all affect the data. Heygo’s measurements are therefore best used as a consistent tool for training and movement analysis.
Video shows your riding from an external visual perspective, while Heygo directly captures sensor data throughout each run. The two are complementary rather than interchangeable. Video helps you see visible movements, while Heygo quantifies details that are difficult to assess with the naked eye or standard footage. Together, they can provide a more complete picture of your riding.
A full charge lasts you through a full day of riding — just charge overnight, watch for low-battery alerts, and be aware that cold weather drains the battery a bit faster.
