How We Collect Personal Data
We may collect Personal Data in the following ways:
1.1 Information You Provide to Us
You may provide Personal Data when you:
Create or update a Heygo account; Purchase Heygo products or services; Complete your user profile; Subscribe to newsletters or marketing communications; Contact customer support; Submit reviews, feedback, survey responses, or product comments; Participate in promotions, referral programs, competitions, campaigns, or events; Upload or share photos, videos, skiing records, activity data, or other content; Communicate with us through email, chat, social media, forms, or other channels; Use AI-powered features, coaching tools, or support tools.
1.2 Information Collected from Heygo Devices and the App
When you use Heygo devices, sensors, or the Heygo app, we may collect data generated by your device or app, including activity data, skiing session data, motion data, pressure data, sensor data, device status, and related usage information.
1.3 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website or use our Services, we may automatically collect certain data through cookies, pixels, web beacons, SDKs, local storage, log files, and similar technologies. This may include device information, browser information, IP address, app usage data, online activity data, and advertising identifiers.
1.4 Information from Third Parties
We may receive Personal Data from third parties, including:
Payment processors and ecommerce platforms; Shipping, logistics, and fulfillment providers; Fraud prevention and security providers; Analytics and advertising partners; Social media platforms and linked accounts; Customer support platforms; Referral or campaign partners; Retailers, distributors, or authorized partners; Other third parties where permitted by law or with your consent.
Personal Data We Collect
Depending on how you interact with Heygo, we may collect the following categories of Personal Data.
4.1 Contact Data
This may include your name, email address, phone number, billing address, shipping address, and other contact details.
4.2 Account and Profile Data
This may include your username, password, profile photo, account settings, language preference, region, user preferences, skill level, skiing goals, saved settings, and other information you choose to add to your profile.
4.3 Order, Payment, and Transaction Data
This may include products purchased, order number, transaction history, billing details, shipping details, payment status, refunds, exchanges, warranty requests, and customer support records.
Heygo does not directly store complete payment card numbers. Payment information is processed by third-party payment processors in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.
4.4 Device Data
This may include device model, serial number, firmware version, battery level, device status, connection status, Bluetooth information, sensor status, crash logs, diagnostic data, app version, operating system, and device identifiers.
4.5 Skiing and Activity Data
When you use the Heygo hardware device and mobile application, our sensors and algorithms collect physical and mechanical data related to your skiing movements, including:
Kinematic and Motion Data: Skiing duration, acceleration, deceleration, tilt angles, and the movement trends of your body's center of mass;
Biomechanical and Postural Data: Pressure distribution exerted on the snowboard/ski and your body, movement frequency, turning rhythm, and action patterns;
Performance Ratings and Insights: Skiing technical scores, performance indicators, movement proficiency evaluations, and customized training recommendations generated by the Heygo AI algorithm based on the aforementioned physical data.
Please note: All the aforementioned data are calculated based on the physical inertia and pressure conduction captured by the hardware sensors. Unless you grant separate authorization within the App, we do not collect your medical health data (such as heart rate) or precise GPS spatial trajectories through the hardware device itself.
4.6 Location and GPS Data
The Heygo hardware device itself does not contain a GPS module and does not independently generate any location data. However, in order to track your route riding, ski resort maps, and ensure seamless Bluetooth pairing between the hardware and the app, subject to your explicit authorization, the Heygo App invokes your mobile device's native system location services to collect your precise location data (including GPS coordinates, skiing routes, altitude, and ski resort geographic locations). You can disable or limit location permissions at any time through your mobile device's system settings (e.g., setting it to "Only While Using the App"). If you disable location access, the core motion-capture and pressure-analysis functions of the Heygo hardware will remain fully operational; however, you will not be able to use route tracking, ski resort maps, or certain location-based AI coaching insights within the App.
4.7 AI Interaction Data
If you use Heygo AI-powered features, such as AI coaching, ski analysis, personalized feedback, chat-based assistance, or AI customer support, we may collect prompts, questions, responses, conversation history, feedback, and related context needed to provide and improve those features.
Please do not submit sensitive or unnecessary personal information in AI conversations unless required for the specific service.
4.8 Communications Data
This may include emails, chat messages, support tickets, reviews, survey responses, social media interactions, and other communications you exchange with us.
4.9 Marketing and Advertising Data
This may include your marketing preferences, campaign engagement, email open rates, click activity, referral activity, coupon use, ad interactions, and similar marketing-related data.
4.10 Online Activity and Technical Data
This may include IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, time zone, pages viewed, links clicked, access times, session duration, referring pages, app activity, and other technical or usage data.
4.11 User Content
This may include content that you upload, submit, post, or share through the Services, such as photos, videos, comments, reviews, skiing records, profile content, or community posts.
4.12 Aggregated or De-Identified Data
We may create aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data from Personal Data. This data does not directly identify you and may be used for research, analytics, product development, benchmarking, performance insights, and business improvement.
If we combine de-identified or aggregated data with information that can identify you, we will treat the combined data as Personal Data.
Sensitive Data and Health-Related Data
Heygo products and services may provide activity, performance, motion, and training-related insights. Depending on your location and the nature of the data collected, certain information may be considered sensitive personal data, health-related data, or consumer health data under applicable law.
Heygo does not intend to provide medical diagnosis, treatment, cure, monitoring, or prevention of any disease or medical condition. Heygo products and services are not medical devices.
Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent before collecting or using sensitive data, including precise location data, health-related data, or similar protected data.
We do not sell your consumer health data to third parties. Where health-related data is used for personalization, recommendations, insights, or product features, such use occurs within Heygo or through authorized service providers acting on our behalf.
